We could do this program on a charter basis for your group, Monday to Monday or Friday to Friday departures.

Day 1:
Fly into Coca early in the morning and proceed downriver on the Napo, take dugouts into small blackwater rivers on the way and rendezvous with Manatee at end of day. We will be near the Tiputini region. After dinner on board, introductory evening river trip on small tirbutary.

Day 2:
Early morning exploration of Tiputini river while ship continues its journey downriver. Later return to ship for entrance into Aguarico river system and exploration in paddle dugouts on the Cocaya river. After lunch, trek through forest as ship continues its navegation, now heading up the Aguarico river.

Day 3:
Early morning departure by canoe to explore the Lagartococha River system (black water ecosystem) and its network of interconnected lagoons. This is one of the most remote regions of Ecuadorean rainforests, intagible by human populations and well protected where pink river dolphins can be readily seen. Box lunch today and return to ship for navigation further down the Napo River and enter the Peruvian town of Pantoja and spend the night there. This is a most interesting experience to talk with the local Peruvian people about their experiences and criteria regarding environmental issues.

Day 4:
Early morning navigation up the Napo while passengers explore the Yasuni river system and the Jatun Cocha lagoons (this ecosystem is rainforest, terra firme, whereas Lagarto Cocha is floodforest). These lagoons are rather large and water is typically brown in color. Return to ship and proceed to Rocafuerte and evening exploration of the Tiputini river.

Day 5:
Continue upriver while passengers explore region of Yuturi. In afternoon visit flood forest at Pañacocha and overnight in tented area by the lagoon system.

Day 6:
Continue upriver and passengers visit parrot lick at the region of Añangu (this is truly a spectacular site, practically guaranteed every time). Afternoon visit to Biological Research Station at Limoncocha, via the Jivino river. Boat river on the lake. Return to ship will be by evening canoe ride to observe caimans and other nocturnal wildlife.

Day 7:
Visit to archaerological museum at region of Pompeya with respective lecture. Afternoon visit to indigenous communities and optional evening exploration.

Day 8:
Arrival to Coca and exploration of oil town and afternoon flight back to Quito.

Please take note that the sequence of visits can change to meet climatic and/or operational reasons at time of cruise.
